  • 9:16: Stories, Reels, TikTok and phone wallpapers.

Private by design

Your photo never leaves your device. It’s opened, cropped and saved entirely in your browser. Need a round picture? Try thecircle crop. Need an official photo size? Use the passport photo maker.

FAQ

Crop Photo FAQ

How do I crop a photo online?

Upload, drop or paste a photo (or take one with your camera), drag the crop box to the area you want, resize it from the corners, then click “Download cropped photo”.

Can I crop to an exact aspect ratio?

Yes. Pick 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 4:5, 3:4 or 9:16 and the crop box keeps that shape while you resize it. Choose “Free” to crop any shape.

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. With “Original crop” selected, the cropped area is saved at the full resolution of your photo. PNG keeps every pixel exactly; JPG and WebP are smaller files.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is opened and cropped in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I crop a photo into a circle?

Yes. Switch the shape to “Circle”, or use the circle crop tool, for round profile pictures with a transparent background.
